Cherry Blossom

Japan is known around the world for its cherry blossom festivals. Known as hanami in Japanese, the very first festival to coincide with the country’s first blooms — the Motobu Yaedake Cherry Blossom Festival in Okinawa — is normally held sometime around mid-January to early February.

Holi Festival

Holi is a popular and significant Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colours, Love and Spring. It celebrates the eternal and divine love of the god Radha and Krishna. Additionally, the day also signifies the triumph of good over evil, as it commemorates the victory of Vishnu as Narasimha Narayana over Hiranyakashipu.

Lantern Festival

The Lantern Festival, also called Shangyuan Festival, is a Chinese traditional festival celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month in the lunisolar Chinese calendar, during the full moon. Usually falling in February or early March on the Gregorian calendar.
